Many people have asked me, "what's next Mike?". I am disappointed, and I know that my friends and supporters are disappointed, but make no mistake, I will continue to do what I have always done. I still represent the strongest center in our Local. I will continue attending meetings, educating, supporting, and standing together with my union brothers and sisters to promote unity and unionism.
There was a lot of time and effort given by our supporters and that was truly appreciated by myself and the rest of our slate. While I sought a role with more responsibility and the opportunity to represent a greater number of our members, my resolve and will have only grown through the campaign. I hope that this experience will help me to do more for our center as we move forward together.
I will truly miss the members of our previous executive board. I will miss the friendships and I have nothing but the utmost respect and appreciation for what they have done. I am honored to have worked with them.
Our new board has a tremendous responsibility as they face many challenges in the road ahead. I believe in the strength of our membership and I wish the board success.
