Community NewsIt has come to our attention that many of the events that UPS and our members do for our communities aren't discovered by many of our members until after the events have taken place. Things like the New York Marathon, which takes place in November. That event requires at least 80 UPS drivers in a one day event that takes the runners belongings from the start of the race on Staten Island, and transports them to the finish in central Park. Last year, four drivers from our building took part in that event.
Also the 2 Day walk to fight Breast Cancer took place this past June 4th and 5th, where many UPS employees took part.
We also have Habitat for Humanity events coming up where you can really make a difference in peoples lives. We are asking UPS to allow us to post all future events on this website, so you will have the opportunity to take part, and know who to contact for each event.
