IN UNITY
THERE IS STRENGTHAugust 2008
Once again our golf outing was a big success, and I would like to thank everyone that helped out, and all of our volunteers. It was a great day and I am already looking forward to next year's outing, I am sure it will be even bigger and better.
One thing I have always told people is to document everything. It is very helpful in dealing with labor issues, and it is a big benefit now with the supervisor working grievances we have submitted.
Something else you should be documenting is pas, dispatch and load problems. Management is not doing their job, the preload is horrendous and none of our pas problems are being fixed.
Meanwhile, they have the nerve to complain about production and try, as usual to blame the drivers. It's not fair and I am not going to tolerate it. They want to hold us accountable, I will be holding them accountable too. If they are too lazy or incompetent to fix their pas or their preload then they will have to live with the numbers, they are not going to dump the blame on us and try to make their numbers by harassing us. Keep notes when you have a split that you shouldn't, wrong loop or area, etc. Make sure you also document when you pass these problems to a supervisor or manager so we can show that they are not making necessary corrections.
